Fresh Faces: 2029 Forwards

Each year that surpasses it allows us to learn about new, bright and young talent entering the helm of high school basketball. The Kansas City and surrounding areas has some of the best young talent in the country that are waiting burst on the scene and take their rightful place. This article will take a look at some of top forwards in the 2029 class.      Efficient and fundamentally sound forward that does knows how to affect a game in a various amount of ways other then scoring. She runs the floor well which allows her to get easy baskets in transition. Hudson also shows great touch around the basket. Shows the capable to shoot from midrange and long distance as well. Calleigh is also a consistent rebounder of offense and defense.       A traditional power forward, that has good size, strength and mobility. Miya does the bulk of her work in and around the basket. She consistently carves out space, and does a great job of working early to create deep post position. She's a powerful finisher that can go through and maneuver around defenders. Respress is also a continual rebounder on the offensive and defensive end.       A rangy forward that shows a ton of versatility within her game. Bates displays her capability to handle grabbing boards on D and starting the break, she also does a good job getting down hill in the half. Sophia also shows good range on her jump shot. Versatility is not just shown on offense, she has solid lateral moment which allows her to guard smaller guards on the perimeter and good size and strength to guard down low.       Solid forward with both wing and post skills. Shows a solid handle going either direction and good variety of finishes to go along with it. Has good form on her shot and shows her consistency to make shots from the middy and three. Shai is a good rebounder on both sides of the ball and a strong on and off ball defender     Sara is a hidden gem within the class of 2029. She's a strong forward who shows versatility and the ability to do a bit of everything when on the court. Williams has a good handle going either direction and despite being right handed uses her left just a bit more than her dominant hand. She shows great range on her shot but also really good touch from the mid range and around the rim. Williams has good instincts and is a great rebounder from the small forward position.
