A rangy forward that shows a ton of versatility within her game. Bates displays her capability to handle grabbing boards on D and starting the break, she also does a good job getting down hill in the half. Sophia also shows good range on her jump shot. Versatility is not just shown on offense, she has solid lateral moment which allows her to guard smaller guards on the perimeter and good size and strength to guard down low.
