Headliners Invitational Cheat Sheet: 1-2 Guards

The Headliners Invitational Showcase was a groundbreaking experience in 2023--it's back and better than ever. My definition of a prospective showcase includes three elements: 1) College-caliber players, 2) College Coaches, and 3) Media Exposure from a respected source in the high school girls basketball recruiting arena. The Headliners Invitational checks all three boxes and then some. 19 colleges from D2, D3, NAIA, NCCAA, and JUCO college programs in Michigan have pre-registered to recruit at this [program_tooltip program_id='923712' first='Prepare' last='2 Win Basketball'] Showcase. College coaches who have pre-registered to attend the event will be provided a hard copy recruiting packet with all the information necessary to evaluate during the event and contact prospects afterwards. The event format is EXACTLY what I believe needs to be present to 1) Thoroughly evaluate a prospect, 2) Fully demonstrate a prospects recruitable qualities, and 3) Cultivate a connection with college coaches. Everything about this showcase is intentional and nothing is being done haphazardly. College coaches will lead prospects during the skill stations and coach the players during games. Maximum ball touches have been built into this event through stations, 3v3, and 5v5 play. There will be a Headliners Invitational MVP selected for both sessions and FREE access to film following the event on SnipBack. The anticipation is building, so...without further ado, let's take a sneak peek at several combo guard prospects competing during session one at the [program_tooltip program_id='923712' first='Prepare' last='2 Win Basketball'] "Headliners Invitational Showcase"!    Emily brought her "A" game to the PGH Expo and turned in a Top Performer-worthy performance. Her deadly three-point accuracy and pinpoint passes in transition set her apart during the showcase. Emily created steals on the defensive end and blocked shots. Her two-way impact and sharpshooting should grab the attention of coaches at the Headliners Invitational on Sunday.     Logyn excels in showcase formats and was a Top Performer at the PGH Freshman Showcase. She's an expert facilitator with deadly accuracy from three-point range. Logyn has polished handles, excellent footwork, finishes with both hands, and produces in every statistical category on the court. She's ranked #6 in her class for a reason and is the highest-rated prospect competing at the Headliners Invitational on Sunday.     Delaney is a dynamic guard who can facilitate the offense, create her own shot, and make good reads off the ball. She has prototypical length, athleticism, and skills that translate to the next level. Delaney has a smooth perimeter jumper, sees the floor, posts up defenders, finishes well around the basket, and wreaks havoc with her defensive pressure. Delaney will be a prospect who immediately stands out at the Headliners Invitational on Sunday.     Caroline has the character qualities, athleticism, and comprehensive impact on the court that college coaches look for in a prospect. She rebounds, makes the hustle plays, works hard on defense, and finishes hard drives with layups. Caroline finds open teammates and makes good decisions with the ball. She was a Top Performer at the PGH Expo and will be a guard prospect to watch at the Headliners Invitational.     Savannah had a solid outing at the PGH Freshman Showcase and will look to build on that this Sunday. She's a confident three-point shooter who stays active on the defensive end to create steals. Savannah changes directions using quick crossover dribbles, and I'm excited to see her compete at the Headliners Invitational.     Stella has prototypical length and abilities as a guard that immediately grab your attention. She drives fearlessly through the lane with a burst and finishes through contact at the rim. Stella scans the floor and distributes passes to open teammates. She creates turnovers with her active hands on defense and chases down rebounds. Stella is going to be a playmaker who stands out at the Headliners Invitational on Sunday.
