Expert Analysis
Evan Bell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Stella was one of the toughest prospects in the gym at the PGH MI College Tour II. Bloody nose and all, no pain or discomfort was going to keep her off the court. She paused on the perimeter, then drove by with a burst to score a strong and-one at the rim. Stella changed directions with a behind-the-back snap to get by and earn a trip to the line. She sprinted in and battled for rebounding position, resulting in many extra scoring chances for the team. Stella dove for loose balls and made good kickouts to open shooters. She pushed the ball with both hands up the floor to score a floater, cut backdoor for a tough and-one finish with her left, and drilled a triple in the slot. Stella made key blocks in the paint down the stretch to help Michigan Vice 16U win the Silver Championship Game. She received All-Tournament First Team honors.
