<p>Last season's Division 3 Player of the Year, Olivia Flynn, capped off a remarkable high school career and is now continuing her basketball journey at Western Michigan University. Her departure leaves a big void at the top, as Flynn's elite scoring ability, competitiveness, and leadership set the standard for excellence in Division 3. With her graduation, the race for this year's Player of the Year title is wide open—so the question becomes: who will rise to claim the crown next?</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Aubrey built an impressive résumé last season, earning Second Team All-State honors as just a sophomore after putting together one of the most well-rounded campaigns in the state. She averaged 18.9 points, 5.5 assists, 6.2 steals, and 4.8 rebounds per game while etching her name into the MHSAA record books with 14 assists in a single contest and 160 steals over the season. Her leadership and playmaking were key in guiding Manton to a 21-5 record and a district championship. With her ability to impact the game in so many ways, Aubrey is poised for an even bigger junior year as she continues to elevate her game and lead her team to new heights.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Janessa was the heart and soul of Ishpeming last season, earning First Team All-State honors after an outstanding junior campaign. The experienced guard filled the stat sheet night after night, averaging 21.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, and three steals per game while knocking down 37 percent of her shots and converting 79 percent from the free throw line. Her steady leadership and scoring ability helped guide Ishpeming to an impressive 18-6 record. As she enters her senior season, Janessa's blend of skill, poise, and competitiveness will once again make her one of the top players to watch in Division 3.</p>

She led her team in nearly every major category, averaging 18.6 points, 9.1 rebounds, and 2.7 steals per game while setting the tone with her consistency and competitiveness. When the lights were brightest, Angela delivered—scoring a team-high 11 points in the state championship game to help secure the title. With her combination of strength, skill, and leadership, she'll be a key piece once again as Arbor Prep looks to defend its crown this season.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Natalia had a breakout junior season for Saugatuck, earning First Team All-State honors while proving to be one of the most complete guards in the state. Known for her relentless defense, she was named the Holland Sentinel's Defensive Player of the Year after averaging an incredible seven steals per game. But she wasn't just a stopper—she also powered the offense, posting 17.1 points, 5.1 assists, and 4.7 rebounds per contest. Her leadership and all-around impact helped guide Saugatuck to a 23-2 record along with conference and district championships. With her tenacity and two-way skill set, Natalia will look to build on her stellar junior campaign heading into her senior year.</p>
