Now that rankings content is done for now, we can look forward to the season tipping off this coming Tuesday. This weekend, I'd like to highlight a handful of players whom I'll be keeping tabs on throughout the 2025-26 season for various reasons. On Monday, I'll have a full day devoted to my predictions for the 2025-26 season, and I'll be open to being wrong on multiple occasions this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='874380' first='Olivia' last='Williams']

The Bay Port guard is a talented kid who excels at getting to the basket and forcing defenses to collapse on her drives. She has a unique ability to draw defenders when she turns the corner, and has proven she can finish around the basket through traffic. Williams has also shown she can be a high-level perimeter shooter. She can knock spot-up shots at a high clip.

[player_tooltip player_id='1217182' first='Bailey' last='Nelson']

The Monona Grove guard has a pair of older sisters playing at the collegiate level, and she has an opportunity to do the same. Nelson took a significant step forward throughout the AAU season. I thought that by the last time I saw her play in June, she had an opportunity to be a player who can affect winning at a high level in Badger-Larger, and I'm eager to see how she handles herself in her junior season and if she can help elevate the Silver Eagles this winter.

[player_tooltip player_id='1045915' first='Bailey' last='Olson']

The Cameron wing has been the focal point of the Comets' offense in her time in high school. She is a confident player who has helped her team compete at the highest level in the conference, has helped her group reach the second weekend of the postseason in the past, and has the tools to continue to help the Comets compete in Northwest Wisconsin. I'm eager to see how she's developed and handles her junior campaign.

[player_tooltip player_id='892088' first='Lucy' last='Norville']

Norville had a role with the Division 4 runner-ups last winter. The St. Mary Catholic wing/forward is a player who doesn't need to score to make an impact on a game. Her ability to fit into different roles and use her motor to help generate extra possessions will help her team win games. Players like her may get lost in the shuffle for people who watch her once or twice a year, but she could be a thorn in the side of coaches in the Big East for the next few seasons.
