With the season kicking off this week, we will finally get to see how some of the top freshman perform in their first high school games. With all freshmen not making varsity teams for a handful of reasons that are sometimes out of their control, we can't see everyone, so it's important to note that these freshman rankings are heavily weighted toward those who already have offers, those who are undeniably skilled, and players who have legit college interest. We have extended the rankings from 10 to 25 for this update, as well as added 10+ prospects to our Watch List. Below are a couple of freshmen who have a solid amount of versatility in their game.

Johnson will be a matchup problem in a majority of the games she plays. From a stature standpoint, she has the build of a collegiate player, and skill-wise.. she matches it perfectly with her frame. She can score in the post, she isn't afraid to stretch the floor, and defensively, she has no issue guarding all positions. Strong upside.

Edison is suiting up for Willowbrook and should be a player to watch in this program. The kid has a solid amount of skill for her age, and when you pair that with her size.. There is clear potential for her to be a strong prospect over the next couple of years.
