Taeja Morrow | 5’7 G | Senior | Green Bay West
A versatile guard with a scorers mindset, Morrow is leading the conference in scoring this season. She is averaging 19.5 points per game. With a season-high 29 points in a huge conference win over Menasha and 26 points against Bonduel, Morrow showed why she is the top scorer. As the season progresses, Morrow has stepped up big time and its showing in an overall improvement for her team. She uses her quick handles to fly passed defenders and finish with flare at the rim.
Alexa Thomson | 5’8 F | Junior | West De Pere
Leading her team in scoring with 17.5 points per game, Thomson is a key player in her team being the number one team in the conference. Undersized for her position, Thomson makes up for it with her crazy athleticism and understanding for her spots on the floor. She does a fantastic job of getting herself open. Thomson will also step outside and knock down a three pointer. She is leading the conference in rebounds with 9.3 per game. She dropped 28 points in her team’s win over conference opponent New London.
Maggie McGinnis | 5’7 G | Freshman | Xavier
Currently averaging 16.6 points per game for her team, McGinnis has stepped up big time for her team. With a team that is second in the conference, having a player like McGinnis is huge. She brings a level of consistency that is almost unheard of as a freshman. She brings tremendous guard play and has shown she has the ability to take almost anyone to the basket. She had 21 in a team win over Green Bay West and 26 against New London.
Rachel Reed | 5’9 F | Junior | Shawano
Reed has been a strong leader for her Shawano squad. She does it all. She gets up and down the floor well and has a good feel for the game. She is averaging 11 points per game and brings a highly competitive nature each game. Reed plays with so much strength underneath the basket and is averaging nearly 8 rebounds.
Alexa Yost | 5’7 G | Senior | Menasha
With her team currently third in the Bay Conference, Yost is a huge reason for such success this season. She is averaging 14.2 points per game and has come up big for her team. She is a consistent guard who has a nice jump shot and even better dribble drive game inside. Yost dropped 21 points in a win over Saint Mary Catholic and another 21 points in her teams win over Green Bay East. Look for Yost to step up big come playoff time.
