MacKenna is a fundamentally sound player that continues to do the little things on the court. In a recent win over Capital, she finished with a double-double. She poured in 12 points and added 15 rebounds. I love the energy and effort that this kid plays with. She is collecting all of the hustle stats with rebounds, steals, and blocks. Hermansdorfer does a great job understanding her role and excelling in it. In a recent win over Winfield, Alayna scored 9 points. She also added 11 rebounds and 4 steals in that win. Despite the loss to a tough Parkersburg squad, she scored 9 points and added 8 rebounds. Abbey's effort and attitude is contagious on the court. Princeton has started the season 2-0 and Honaker has notched 8 points in both contests. Outside of scoring, this one gets after it on every possession on defense. She will hound opponents with her relentless on ball pressure. Abbey picked up 3 steals in the win over Capital. She followed that game up with 2 steals against Nitro. The youngster is going to make mistakes but her hustle after a mistake is what stands out. In a recent win over Hurricane, she poured in 19 points, added 5 assists, and 2 steals! She knocked down three beautiful long balls in this contest. Sandy doesn't need much time or space to get her shot off. I love how she is ready to catch and shoot even in transition. She does a great job defensively. She has picked up numerous steals to start the season.
