Banton poured in 14 points and added 9 rebounds in the win over Nitro. She knocked down three beautiful long balls in this contest. Sandy doesn’t need much time or space to get her shot off. I love how she is ready to catch and shoot even in transition. She does a great job defensively. She has picked up numerous steals to start the season. Greenbrier East is a tough team and they can make it far with solid play by Banton.

No matter where Banton is in the rankings, make note that she is a do-it-all athlete that plays extremely hard. Sandy knows and understands her role on this tough Greenbrier East squad. She plays her role exceptionally well. She provided big minutes whenever her number was called. She has a high motor on both ends of the court! Sandy can definitely provide huge minutes to help get Greenbrier East back to states next season!
