As the season rolls on, I'd like to continue highlighting some players from off the beaten path. There are hundreds of teams in the state, and plenty of players who deserve recognition for how the first month and some change have gone for them. Today, we'll look at eight players whom I'd like to discuss based on how they've played thus far.

[player_tooltip player_id='992508' first='Macy' last='Stremlow']

The Verona sophomore can do a little of everything for the Wildcats in her minutes on the floor. Stremlow is physical enough to defend around the basket, hold her ground, and rebound. She is also a player who can attack the basket off the dribble and make plays around the basket. However, she is a kid who may be a better perimeter shooter than we've seen thus far, and could be a player who continues to improve that part of her game. It also helps that she is a good passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='1135350' first='Kylee' last='Venner']

The De Soto wing is a high-motor kid who has improved her perimeter game since she first got into high school. Venner has a quick release on her jumper and can get her shot off in a timely manner. She is also a player who rebounds the ball at an elite level on the wing and can help generate extra possessions by rebounding on the offensive end or forcing live-ball turnovers defensively.

[player_tooltip player_id='891648' first='Aria' last='Bilke']

The Menasha wing is an intriguing prospect who has all the physical tools to be a player who can compete at the next level. Bilke isn't the tallest wing you'll find, but she has the motor to play big and rebound the ball at a high level. She is a player who can record a double-double when she steps on the floor. The Bluejay is also a solid perimeter threat who can knock down perimeter jumpers whenever she is given space behind the three-point line.

Tori Justman

The Marshall guard is a talented player who can play as a lead guard and elevate the level of players around her. Justman isn't playing somewhere where she'll draw the attention of the state at large, but anyone who watches her will appreciate what she brings to the court. She will rebound the ball as a lead guard, create open looks for others, and make things happen with the ball in her hands. Justman is an under-the-radar player, but she could develop into an impactful guard at the next level.
