Riley Strange, PF, 6-0, 2021, Knox County
One of the most impressive class of 21 scorers we find right here in the class of 21 in Knox County’s Riley Strange, a player for sure that will be a known watch out for play maker in class 2 ball come 2020-21 season. At 16 ppg. and shooting at a 56% field goal clip lets just say she knows how to be one of the state’s most efficient scorers. Eagles fans should be very excited for the year ahead.
Michaela Malter, PG, 5-10, 2021, Sweet Springs
Not far to the East of Kansas City in class 2 ball is one of the better junior looking scorers in Michaela Malter, a player that has poured in an average of 15.8 points per contest in 22 games in the 2019-20 campaign. Lets also say her 24 three pointers made could just be the tip of the iceberg in her outside scoring abilities for the 2020-21 season.
Megan Harrelson, G, 2021, Clopton
One of the more impressive athletes in the 2021 class for Missouri’s 2 class scorers and one we really like is Clopton’s Megan Harrelson, a junior guard that gets the job done and a player that finished the year with a 15.2 ppg average. Also great at the charity stripe for an 80% clip. Helped Clopton to a 20-7, 9-1 in districts record on the year.
Madison Thompson, SG, 5-9, G, 2021, Lakeland
One of the players in Central Missouri that was a shining light was Deepwater native and Lakeland scoring machine Madison Thompson, a guard that could really make it happen and a player that was able to net a 14.8 ppg average. Was also able to draw fouls well and made a whopping 91 Free Throws.
Caragan Lockard, F/G, 2021, Clopton
Along with scoring teammate Meagan Harrelson, both players were among the state scoring leaders in class 2 and Clopton returns two of their weapons for the season ahead and things are looking great for the Hawks. Lockard averaged 14.6 ppg. In 27 games and made 79 free throws as one of their key weapons.
