Early Season Breakout: North Greene And Coalfield High School

Both teams so far in the 2025-2026 season have had over 10 wins and just two losses on the year. She has multiple games with two or more made threes, including games against Cherokee and Washburn High School.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Defensively, she has been extremely active in getting steals. One of her best games of the year, showing her perimeter defensive prowess, was against Hancok High School. She has had multiple games this year with two or more steals and has also been a great interior defender for North Greene. In a game against Franklin-Simpson High School, she had four steals and a block.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>On offense, Graham can do a little bit of everything, including knocking down shots beyond the perimeter. She does a great job of establishing inside post position. When she gets the ball down low, even if she misses a shot, she often finds a way to get another shot with an offensive rebound. This relentless style of play from Southerland was seen in a game against West Greene High School. In the game, Southerland had 23 points and 10 rebounds. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>With her superb paint scoring, Southerland has showcased this year she has also shown that she can also space the floor with a perimeter jumper. She is a player who does not force things and has no issue swinging a pass to a teammate to help her team get a better look on offense. With this play she can still have heaters offensively, especially from the perimeter. In a game against Copper Basin High School, she made three shots from long distance.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Nichols is also a solid wing defender who has the capability of forcing turnovers. The combination of her above-average handle, along with a highly accurate perimeter shot, makes her a tough guard for defenders. Lowe on offense is also a great rebounder, notching a couple double double-doubles this season. One of these double-doubles came against Baylor High School, where in the game it also highlighted her playmaking ability. Early into her sophomore season, she has shown that hype is for a good reason.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wright's do it all game ste game has only grown sharper in her second year at Coalfield High School. She has multiple double-doubles this year, and still is a lethal sharpshooter from distance at 6'0". And while most players in TN at her size are designated to play the post position, although she can score in the paint, she still has traits in her game typically seen in a smaller guard. She can dribble, run the offense, and facilitate all at an above-average level.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A recent game that showcased her versatility as a player was against Tennessee High School.
