Another freshman that is leaving a mark on the summer circuit has been Daugherty. She played minutes for the Class A state champions Lincoln North Star in all 28 games and averaged 3.4 points and 2.6 rebounds per contest during her freshman campaign. Daugherty is a versatile post who should be in line for a big sophomore season. This summer she is playing “up” for the Nebraska Attack 16U team and had a big performance at Live at the Lakes where she scored 56 points in four games including a single-game high of 28 points in their opener.

Daugherty made an impact off the bench for the Class A state champions Lincoln North Star scoring 88 points, grabbing 61 rebounds and dishing out 29 assists. She has moved up this summer playing on the Nebraska Attack 16U team where she had an excellent first weekend averaging just over seven points and six rebounds in Pennsylvania. Daugherty is a physical post who should grow even more of the next few years. She is one of three Gator freshmen ranked in our 2029 class as they look to build on the first state title in school history.
