I just did a story a couple of days ago on 5 of the Top 12 juniors that have already committed #1 [player_tooltip player_id="65876" first="Jada" last="Malone"] (Texas A&M) #4 [player_tooltip player_id="67946" first="AJ" last="Marotte"] (Washington) #8 [player_tooltip player_id="97623" first="Evie" last="Goetz"] (TCU) #9 [player_tooltip player_id="97624" first="Paige" last="Bradley"] (Texas) and #12 [player_tooltip player_id="67955" first="Bria" last="McClure"] (College of Charleston) so a day later, #3 [player_tooltip player_id="65878" first="Rori" last="Harmon"] makes it half of the 12 as she committed to Texas. Harmon is an explosive scorer with bedazzling handles not to mention the ability to see the floor and of course, make her teammates better. She and McClure are the top two point guards in the junior class and here are some of the other junior point guards that I have personally seen yet many will be upgraded on next update but here you go
[player_tooltip player_id="97627" first="Raven" last="Adams"] (Ridgepoint)
Current Rank #14
Adams ability to run a squad is second to none, she controls the tempo and handles the pressure and she also applies it on the defensive end yet her ballhandling and setting her teammates up is one of the reasons her team made a deep run this season and when you throw in her shooting the long ball and scoring off the dribble, you have several options to try to defend
[player_tooltip player_id="97628" first="Jermia" last="Green"] (Clear Springs)
Current Rank #21
Green is a powerful guard that just comes right at defenders and her strength enables her to do many things such as attack and finish with contact but she also passes well off the dribble not to mention doing the same thing on the break going full speed and her pinpoint passes combined with the mid to long-range shooting makes her a multiple threat
[player_tooltip player_id="136333" first="Vanessa" last="Herrera"] (El Paso Eastlake)
Current Rank #50
Herrera showed me so much during the Katy Classic that I was left speechless at times. She understands how to get defenders to lean and then she’s gone but she also showed that she could get the ball to the right person and the right time. Her body control enables her to do so many things, finish acrobatically or zip the ball hanging in mid-air
[player_tooltip player_id="136356" first="Alyssa" last="Bonilla"] (Canutillo)
Current Rank #65
Bonilla shows something I hashtagged almost a decade ago and that’s #sizedontmatter when you can play and her quickness and basketball IQ just sets everything off because she can score multiple ways, mid to long including the step back but she also handles the ball well under pressure and hits teammates on the money in traffic not to mention being a sparkplug
[player_tooltip player_id="136344" first="Kamari" last="Portalis"] (Magnolia West)
Current Rank #67
Portalis falls into so many categories including one of the areas best long ball shooters as well as clutch shooters but her poise on the floor has always been there and she will to be rattled no matter what comes at her which is always a good thing. If the ball needs to be pushed, she understands when as well as when to slow it down and she makes good decisions
[player_tooltip player_id="136362" first="Taliyah" last="Johnson"] (Temple)
Current Rank #76
Johnson was upgraded after an All-Tournament performance at MT Rice as she showed me something I love to see, she put her team on her back during the stretch and whether it was scoring, making steals or breaking the press on her own that led to assists or assist opportunities, she did it. Good vision combined with a deceptive first step and outside shooting
[player_tooltip player_id="158668" first="Emri" last="Lovell"] (Harker Heights)
Current Rank #80
Lovell was one of the big surprises at the She’s Ballin Showcase, I knew she was good but she will definitely be upgraded on the next go-round. Her explosiveness is second to none, she gets wherever she wants, whenever she wants and her midrange was overly exceptional as well as her threading the needle and handling the ball while being tightly defended, sometimes by multiple players
