The kids we identify have already proven themselves on the court during their freshman campaign and was going to add to it before the COVID19 Pandemic occurred.
#4. 2023, 5’6, PG, Flintridge Prep HS, Ashley Chea Ashley Chea 5'6" | PG Flintridge Prep HS | 2023 State CA – is a dynamic young point guard with the world in her hands playing for Team Taurasi as an 8th grader last season, so it prepared her for battle. She will be a sure thing for her high school, a freshman coming in with tons of elite basketball experience, she will not waiver in my opinion if she is allowed to start for her high school coach. She shoots it well from all three levels and is a pretty good passer, she has some swag about her game and she loves to show it off. Major Upside from this kid…
#10. 2023, 5’5, PG, Mater Dei HS, Caia Elisaldez Caia Elisaldez 5'5" | PG Mater Dei HS | 2023 State CA – Very good point guard with a great tool kit for her age, she is quick, she is strong and she is a tough defender for her team. She has great handles, is able to make plays for her team and also punish you if you make a mistake, she will then just take you off the dribble to the rim or use her floater in the paint.
#14. 2023, 5’7. PG, Moureau Catholic HS, Dymonique Maxie Dymonique Maxie 5'7" | PG Moreau Catholic HS | 2023 State CA – Dymonique showed us she could get to the rim and finish with both hands, she showed us she had a decent handle as well as a nice jump stop in the paint. She shot the pull up three pointer with consistency and was a geniune athlete on the floor with some patent euro-step finishes in the game we watched. Solid player in our book as we watched her play.
#17. 2023, 5’4, PG, Corona Centennial HS, Sydni Summers Sydni Summers 5'4" | CG Corona Centennial HS | 2023 State CA – Sydni is a tough customer at the point guard position, she is tough, she is quick and she is very crafty with her skill set. She is a threat to score at anytime on the floor, but her specialty is knocking down the long ball if you back up or leave her open for the shot. There is no shame in her game, plus she is a lock down defender that is determined to stop you from scoring any points, takes pride in it, two-way player in my book.
#18. 2023, 5’7, PG, St. Marys Stockton HS, Nia Anderson Nia Anderson 5'7" | PG Saint Mary's of Stockton | 2023 State CA – Nia is gifted in having a nice body type that is prepared for high school right now, she showed us she could finish at the rim and finish thru traffic with ease. She worked the lanes and kept the ball away from defenders as she slashed to the rim to finish with both hands. She shot the midrange and we were impressed with the consistency on that shot.
