The 8th Region is loaded with young talent, and these names have been setting the standard all season long. The future is extremely bright!    Ellie is a gritty competitor who continues to improve every single week. She plays with toughness and confidence, and her scoring ability has become a major weapon for her team. A true perimeter threat, Ellie can stretch the floor and make defenses pay from deep. She's averaging 12.2 points per game and leads her varsity squad in three pointers made. Her growth and consistency have made her a key piece in Anderson County's success.     Ava's speed with the ball immediately jumps off the floor. She attacks gaps, gets downhill in a hurry, and finishes strong at the rim. What separates her is her ability to both score and create for others, keeping defenders guessing. Averaging 10.5 points per game and a team-high 6.2 rebounds, she impacts the game in multiple ways and plays far beyond her freshman status.     Relentless is the best word to describe Ava. She crashes the boards hard, runs the floor every possession, and communicates constantly on the court. Her motor never stops. Averaging 12.9 points and an impressive 12.5 rebounds per game, she is already one of the most productive post players in the region. Her physicality and effort set the tone for North Oldham.     Paxton is a pure shooter who can heat up in a hurry and change a game in just a few possessions. She moves well without the ball and stays ready to knock down shots. On the defensive end, she's a strong on-ball defender who competes every trip. Averaging 8.3 points per game and ranking second on her team in three-pointers made, Paxton is a constant perimeter threat.     Jacey brings strength and poise to the paint. She plays with a high basketball IQ and makes smart decisions on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she has soft touch from mid-range and finishes well around the basket. Defensively, she anchors the interior. Averaging 7.5 points and a team high 7.3 rebounds per game, Jacey is establishing herself as a dependable post presence.       Kayla is a long, athletic forward who thrives attacking the rim. Her length creates problems defensively, and she's shown steady development in her outside shooting as the season has progressed. She protects the rim well and has strong timing when contesting shots. Averaging 5.8 points and 5.9 rebounds per game, she's second on the team in rebounding and continues to expand her game.     Norah takes pride in defense and often draws the assignment of guarding the opponent's best scorer. She competes with toughness and intelligence, never backing down from a challenge. Despite her guard size, she battles inside, rebounds aggressively, and can score in the post against taller players. She ranks in the top three on her team in rebounding, proving her impact goes well beyond her size.
