After a stellar freshman season, the 6-footer has filled the stat sheet even more during her sophomore season where the Bees are undefeated (one of just three left in Nebraska). Averaging a double-double, Mlady carries averages of 20.6 points and 10.2 rebounds for Bloomfield and she also adds 4.1 steals and 1.6 assists per game. The Bees are ranked No. 1 in Class D-1 heading to the postseason.

Another in a long line of great freshman in the state this year, Huskey has helped Weeping Water earn the top-seed in their sub-district with a 14-9 record. The top freshman scorer in Class D-1, Huskey has poured in 19.5 points per game this season. But her all-around game also shows in averages of 6.6 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 3.9 steals per contest.

One of the top guards in Class D-2, Rust has Red Cloud near the top of the class in playoff power points. That said, the Warriors will have to fight through one of the deepest sub-district tournaments in the class against two other top-10 teams in Silver Lake and McCool Junction. Rust has also filled the stat sheet this season with averages of 18.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.2 steals and 3.7 assists. Just a sophomore, she has plenty of room for growth in her game as well.

One of the elite athletes in the state regardless of class, Spargo is a one player wrecking machine for the top-ranked Tigers. And, while she has loads of help she can take over a game at a moment's notice. Her team has by far the best resume in Class D-2 this year and will put their 22-1 record on the line starting tomorrow. Spargo carries averages of 18.7 points, 9.5 rebounds, 5.3 steals per and 2.2 assists per contest. A top track athlete, Spargo may go that route in college but her all-around game should attract college hoops coaches as well.
