She's always been known to be one of the more skilled guards within the class, but this season she proved even more about herself. Soufan showed that she has the capacity to be a complete gamechanger in any given matchup. It's hard to gameplan for someone who is so confident and has counters for most of the things thrown her way. To start the year, there wasn't much known about her overall game, but after watching some of her early film it quickly became clear that she was a force for Westerly. Hamelin is resilient in the lane, dynamic attacking from the wings and has an upbeat tempo that's hard to contain. She'll be a determining factor for them for some time.
