Who are the top wings top keep an eye on as many states seeks to open the gyms back up? This week both Maryland and DC entered "phase two" which means, the limited opening of gyms. Here’s a look at some of the top wings that we will be eyeing.
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="136405" first="Kayla" last="Cabbagestalk"] - 5’10" - Wing - 2021</strong></span>
Kayla is a very active, high energy player that can make plays off of sheer effort. She crashes the board well for weakside rebounds and can finish with a soft touch in the lane.
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Ny’shae Weaver - 6’0" - Wing - 2021</strong></span>
Ny’shae is one of the better rebounding wings and college coaches have begin to notice her potential. She is continually improving her perimeter game and with her size she should make waves once play resumes.
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27870" first="Jalyn" last="Brown"] - 6’0" - Wing - 2022</strong></span>
Jalyn is a superb athlete with a quick first step. She turned heads in fall league showing her ability to score from multiple levels and the hype continued as she worked her way into the starting lineup on one of the nations top teams. She has a perimeter shot that needs to be respected and can get to the basket in a blur.

Nekhu is one of our favorite players to watch. She has the body to mix things up inside and the athleticism and skill to be effective in the perimeter.
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="137212" first="Victoria" last="Beresford"] - 5’10" - Wing - 2022</strong></span>
Victoria has the most college ready game out of the group. She makes a smooth transition from the paint to the perimeter. Her shot looks comfortable and defensively she can guard multiple positions.
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="27883" first="Gianni" last="Boone"] - 5’11" - Wing - 2022</strong></span>
Gianni’s stock took a huge boost in her sophomore season that was cut short due to league rules. She was expectect to continue her rise this spring and summer before the shut down. It will be interesting to see how far her development has gone since the break.
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>Simone Forman - 5’10" - Small Forward - 2022</strong></span>
Simone is a hybrid wing that can play and defend the peremeter but also bang out in the paint. She is a good rebounder with a good set shot.
<span style="text-decoration: underline"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="142826" first="Drew" last="Jordan"] - 5’10" - Wing - 2023</strong></span>
Super athletic wing that had a nice run in her freshman season. Seeing her play against some of the nations elite this summer has been something we have been eagerly awaiting. She will be in line as one of the premier sophomore’s once the high school season begins next season.
