We are midway through the Spring, and we have updated the prospect rankings in all four graduating classes currently enrolled in high school. For many of the ladies in the Class of 2028, they begin leadership roles at their high schools, and several of them will start getting significant attention from college coaches. The overall list (rankings & watch list included) has expanded from 135 total prospects to 150 total prospects. With that said, below is a look at all of the point guard prospects in the Class of 2028. Below the rankings chart are some quick updates on a handful of uncommitted prospects.

Riley's court time over the Winter was limited due to transfer rules, but she maintains the top spot on the point guard list because she is a highly skilled, intelligent guard who has a natural feel for the game. She has always been known as a good deep shooter, and when she's set and in rhythm, she still is. But I think her ability to manage an offense and get the ball where it needs to go often goes overlooked. She has a nice handle, she's an accurate passer, and she can anticipate teammates coming open. She also has nice length, and she utilizes it well defensively.

I was able to see Maddy on three occasions last weekend, and she did what she always does...she played with great energy, physicality at the point guard position, and a toughness. She is strong at her size, and she uses it well to absorb contact but also dish out contact. She has a good handle, she can get downhill North/South, and she's a capable perimeter shooter if she can get any space and rhythm. I really like her energy, her vocalness, and her understanding of the game. She competes each possession and rebounds her position very well.

I have seen Lindsi off and on since she was between her 7th and 8th Grade years, and I've been impressed with her growth since then. She is an athletically built, tough-nosed, skillful lead guard. She is a solid athlete in most directions, she keeps the ball tight, and she understands how to get it where it needs to go. She can attack and score, she can knock down open jumpers, but most importantly, she is just an aware lead guard who communicates. I think she can be a really nice defender as well, because she has the physical tools. She's a bit under the radar, being from Northwest Indiana.

To me, I feel like Serenity is an intriguing ball of clay. She is a really nice athlete, she has noticeable skill and ability, but I also feel like she has a high ceiling she can get to with a little more discipline. She makes a lot of plays off of ability and feel, and that's outstanding. But she could also play at different speeds a little better. She has the athletic tools to where she could be more explosive at times, both offensively and defensively, but she also has times where she plays fast and could use a change-of-pace dribble/move to get through traffic. I really enjoy her potential, though.
