Standouts at The Classic

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Over the weekend, I spent my time taking in the action in the May Live Period in Louisville, Kentucky. There were talented players from all around the country, and some players from our friends north of the border in Canada, playing at the Kentucky Exposition Center. I thought she looked confident when the ball was in her hands, and shot well in the stretches I saw her play. Her ability to space the floor and attack defenses off the catch on the weak side of the floor can open an offense up. She's an explosive athlete who can make plays on both ends of the floor that others physically can't. However, the one thing I noted from her games was her jumper. She had been a player who tried to elevate as much as possible, and as a result, the results were inconsistent. The future Wisconsin Lutheran wing shot the lights out and showed she can push the ball up the floor in transition. She has the physical tools to impact the game on both ends of the floor and was all over the place defensively. She also continued her quest to consistently dunk in games, but missed the one she attempted in the game I watched. Enjoy watching her at the high school level while you can; we may not see a player like her within our borders for a while.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
