Marshaun Bostic 5’9″ Lady BBE 2021: The 2021 point guard from Gateway STEM has a game built for speed. She is as fast with the ball in her hands as anybody you will see. She goes coast to coast on the break with ease. She is also a lock down defender.
Emma Compton Emma Compton 5'5" | CG Strafford | 2022 State MO 5’5″ All-Missouri Attack (Meinders): A tough little 2022 point guard from Strafford who does an excellent job of rebounding for someone of her height. She handles the ball well and can find teammates on penetration and kickouts. She can also knock down open 3-pointers.
Indya Green Indya Green 5'11" | PF Kickapoo | 2021 State MO 5’10″ KC Running Angels Gold: A versatile lefty 2021 forward from Kickapoo who is very active in the post and a good finisher with a nice drop step. She can also rebound the ball and take it the full length of the court off the dribble with no outlet needed.
Trinniti Matthews Trinniti Matthews 5'11" | SF Francis Howell Central | 2022 State MO 5’11″ Midwest United 3SSB 16U: A versatile 2022 wing from Francis Howell Central who was impressive with her ability to wear different hats on the court. She is an excellent defender with her length who was very good on the help side. She is a secondary ball handler against the press and she knocked down a corner 3-pointer.
Jamaya Smith-Powell 5’6″ KC Dream Running Angels 3SSB 17U: A potent scoring threat with a quick first step to the basket and a jet in the open court. The 2021 point guard from North Kansas City was most impressive on defense in the action where I watched her as she was a ball hawk who also applied constant on-ball pressure that was very effective.
Cierra Smith Cierra Smith 5'8" | CG Grandview | 2022 State MO 5’7″ KC Running Angels 3SSB 16U: A quick 2022 point guard from Grandview who is a blur in the open court. She also does a good job of covering ground on the defensive end.
Carlie Vick Carlie Vick 6'2" | C Westminster | 2022 State MO 6’2″ Blue Star (Silvey): The 2022 forward from Westminster showcased the ability to catch and score in the post while stepping out to hit a 15 footer off the catch. Her passing skills were very impressive as she could see over the defense with her height. She was also a presence on defense with her shot blocking.
Kamryn Winch 6’2″ SEMO Sizzle 2022: A strong 2022 post player from North County had one four to five minute stretch that I watched where she just controlled the action in the paint. She was sweeping the defensive boards and she scored on a couple of nice moves in the post when they feed her the ball.
