In the last few days, we have looked at some under-the-radar players for small-school programs to see over the next few months of the grassroots season. Today, we will look at some players who are talented enough for scholarship programs and could help a team compete early at the next level. Let's talk about some intriguing talents from around our state.

The Eau Claire Regis guard has always had a first step that allows her to beat defenders off the dribble, and that will be there for as long as she wants to play at a competitive level. Her ability to create space will allow her to create numerical advantages offensively. However, her ability to read defenses when attacking the basket could be what separates her from her peers at the next level. She will be a hard player for defenses to keep in front of no matter where she plays in the future.

The 2028 class in Wisconsin is loaded, and Stevens is part of what makes that class special. The Janesville native is a two-way wing who competes every second she's on the floor. She has shown she can attack the basket and score in bunches. However, her length and athleticism, paired with her motor on the defensive end, will be what will peak coaches' interest. She has not looked out of place on her [program_tooltip program_id='1824595' first='Team' last='Prime Nation'] group playing 17U EYBL basketball, and she keeps improving.

The athletic tools will jump out at anyone who sees Nelson play, and that plays into why her ceiling is where it is. The Oshkosh native is a player who can make impact plays on both ends of the floor and will make plays that few others physically can. I feel I learned a lot about her in an up-and-down high school season at West, and I thought she handled her own struggles well. I could also tell how much winning meant to her and how much not winning affected her. She channeled her emotions well at games, and I like how she approaches games.

The Deerfield native is a frontcourt player who has been an integral part of the Demons' success in her time there. Loerke is a physical player who can excel around the basket on both ends of the floor. She competes on the defensive side of the ball and is one of the better rim defenders in the state. There is a lot that Loerke can do to help her team win games.
