The Viroqua native is a talented frontcourt prospect with the size and skill to exploit mismatches on both ends. She moved her feet well on the perimeter and moved well laterally as a perimeter defender. I thought she showed an ability to play multiple roles as a two-way player, and her potential was on full display. Schwarz has a ways to go to get to the level she can, but the vision of what that could be was evident.

Every time I get to watch Schwarz she shows something different in her game this time it was all offense usually a physical player showed that she does has the ability to put the ball on the ground and get a smooth bucket, showed a nice touch around the rim, was great off of the pick and roll as well. I wonder what she will bring during the high school season as I fit Viroqua into my schedule.

The newest Purple Aces player showed leadership during the showcase a physical post presence helped her team win the showcase championship and also took home MVP honors. Schwarz’s game will only grow as she matures on the court. I am excited to see how her first season of basketball on the next level goes.

Schwarz passes the eye test. The Viroqua is a 5-11 forward with a solid frame and looks comfortable working around the basket. Whenever I saw her playing in the post, rebounding, or defending in the paint, she was productive. Schwarz played physically through camp and utilized her size advantage well. I’ll be curious to see if she can continue to be physical, power through kids a few years older than her, and help her Viroqua team take a step forward this coming winter.

Schwartz is a talented player, I’ve gotten the chance to watch a lot of film on in the last couple of weeks and I quickly noticed at 5’11 she’s skilled at quick on her feet that makes her a threat on both ends, her first option is to get to the basket but if left open she can knock down shots.
