Class of 2027 Rankings: Peaking at the Right Time

There's a group of now seniors who are taking their games to the next level. Which is the perfect time as they enter the stretch run of their AAU careers.    Stokes has always been good, anchoring three straight Class 4A State Tournament appearances for the Lady Pirates. Including reaching a new level as a two way star in a semifinal run this year. Now this spring with the Missouri Phenoms, she taken her game even higher. She's stronger and more fluid, making her a two way force even at the highest national level. She's earned a starting spot and flourished for the prestigious program. Ivy league Pennsylvania, New Mexico and Nevada have offered recently. With Creighton also showing heavy interest. As the Lady Blue Jays have another Oklahoma on their roster, Allison Heathcock (Edmond North 2024). Who shares similar physical traits and skillset to Stokes.     Another northeastern Oklahoma standout, who is no stranger to high school success. Dennis also has reached new heights this spring with her travel ball club. She is one of the most dynamic players in the state, with a great combination of finesse and power. She's strong downhill powering past defenders like a bowling ball. But also has good handles and great quickness to avoid defenders as well. When Dennis is locked in and in take over mode, she one's of the toughest covers in the state. With improving playmaking, she's unlocking her potential as one of the best players in Oklahoma.     Sanders first caught notice as a a mobile, stretch forward as as sophomore. Over the last year, she has worked hard to develop her perimeter skills. She's athletically fits the bill of a wing, as she's a long and rangy athlete. Capable of stepping out and covering smaller and quick guards. While also draining shots and attacking off the dribble. With more skill to go along with her natural gifts and gritty ways, it appears that Sanders is just starting to scratch the surface of her potential. Making her a priority target for regional programs.     It's hard to pick just one of McLoud's fantastic senior core to highlight here. In this case let's go with the energy giver lead guard. She's a ferocious on the ball defender, always pressuring and causing havoc. Her energy is contagious as part of a swarming press for McLoud and fittingly her Oklahoma Swarm club program. On offense she stirs the drink with transition pitch aheads and getting paint touches which lead to open looks for her teammates. Add in quality three point shooting and Mapira impacts winning in a lot of different ways.     Hamar impressed last weekend at the I35 showcase in front of a host of collegiate coaches from and around Oklahoma. She was a bit of a do everything guard, playing strong and fast as a slasher. Also making the right pass on drives, complete with tough and physical defense. Hamar is a star for a Fairview team that won a lot of games on the way to a 2A State Semifinal finish. And now is flourishing for [program_tooltip program_id='712936' first='Team' last='Oklahoma'] in the type of role she would likely play at the next level. Making her a no brainer for regional colleges looking to add a player who checks the production and intangible boxes.
