The new class of 2027 rankings are out ahead of the upcoming school year and season. Several players have made strong cases for themselves through their performance in last March's state tournaments and in the recent club season. Here are just a few:

Dahl is one of the purest shooters in the state, and she showed it during her summer outside the state. She competed with Tru Game Select out of Alaska, averaging 18.2 points per contest, and was rewarded with an offer from the University of Alaska Anchorage. She closed out her summer by making the second-team all-Adidas 3SSB Classic Bracket in South Carolina. Dahl's movement shooting stands out among her other skills — she can move off the ball, curl off of screens and launch threes at crazy angles. She is also a capable self-creator and can run her team's offense when needed. She dealt with some injuries during her junior season, but when she was on the court, she made a major impression in her first year with Clackamas. The 2025-26 Cavs were fairly successful during what was supposed to be a transitional season. Having a healthy Dahl gives them a solid chance to return to the Chiles Center.

Shurts was one of the brightest stars at the 3A state tournament in March, scoring 51 points over three games. She has rare athleticism for her position and made state in several sprinting and jumping events in track and field. On the court, she is excellent on the fast break and gets a lot of her points off pure hustle. In the half-court, she has polished footwork and can post up and drive face-up. She stood out as an elite play finisher for her level, benefiting greatly from [player_tooltip player_id='837703' first='Nylah' last='Vanthom']'s playmaking. Those two have made the state eight every year of their high school careers and will get a chance to do it at the 4A level as seniors with Banks moving up a classification.

Brown is a steady forward for the Warriors who has performed well at state in Forest Grove for two straight years. She is a tenacious rebounder with quick reflexes on defense and a long wingspan that allows her to contest any shot in her area. She is a core piece of the physical play style that has made Philomath a contender for many years. She is a multi-sport athlete as well, excelling on the soccer pitch and the track.

Tyner was a great table setter for a Marist team that made it back to Forest Grove in 2026. She brings the ball up court and sets her teammates up in good places. Her size and left-handedness give her an advantage as a passer and driver; she can get to her spots with ease. She was named to the first team All-Sky-Em along with her league player-of-the-year teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1191114' first='Ashley' last='Powell'], and that duo has a chance to dominate as seniors. Tyner also played for [program_tooltip program_id='1035055' first='Northwest' last='Select']'s Select 40 squad but unfortunately missed time with a dislocated finger.

Eatmon has been massively underrated on this site for a while, and she has rightfully risen into the top 100 with a chance to climb even further. She was an all-state honorable mention last season with an 18-point-per-game average. She has a quick trigger from deep and is not afraid to shoot right over a flat-footed defender. She was a contributor for [program_tooltip program_id='1233997' first='Or3gon' last='Tripl3']'s local 17U squad and has been hard at work in the gym and weight room this summer, which should prepare her for an important senior year. With teammate [player_tooltip player_id='1112757' first='Lucy' last='Warren'] sidelined to start the year, Eatmon will shoulder even more of the offensive load. I expect Eatmon to put up some gaudy scoring numbers and further prove that she can succeed at the next level.
