I was impressed with her ability to compete and go up against older guards with no problem. She announced herself and played solid on both ends of the floor. She blocked shots or contested them, making it difficult for girls to score on her. She was lockstep with her guards, being available and scoring the ball. I loved her ability to do the dirty work; rebounding on both ends was a premium and made a world of difference. Plays such as this will earn her early opportunities with the Lady Tigers ball club. She has a go-get-em attitude and is willing to do the little things to make a difference. Sure, she can score on the basketball court, but expect her to be impactful in other ways as well. A solid kid on an upward trajectory, with college programs looking at her sooner rather than later.

A kid who seems to get better and play with more confidence every time I see her. Didn't matter if it was an upperclassman or not; she stepped up and took charge. She has a nice clip from 3 too, one that finds the bottom of the net more often times than not. This kid will be heading to a Lady Warriors program looking to make some noise this upcoming season. Look for Addison to be right in the mix as one of the leading contributors for their program. She is a solid ballplayer who brings multiple skill sets to the table. Keep tabs on this young lady, as she not only continues to get better but also becomes a solid combo guard who will be asked to do a lot.

As we wrap up our talks from The Expo, I wanted to shine a light on sleepers in our talent pool. When it comes to basketball, there is so much you have to bring in terms of skill set. The game is pretty simple, right? Dribble. Pass. Shoot. Defender. However, when you add a little sauce to those things, you tend to stand out a little more.

Some of the girls I am talking about keep it simple, but they add a little more to their game. It was evident in their style of play at The Expo. It didn't matter which class they were in; they showed they belonged and competed at a high level. These girls may not be the main ones for their current program; however, you better believe they will play a vital role in their team's success.

Check out a few names from The Expo that you need to keep tabs on.

This kid is a gamer, and she stands out doing the little things well. She shot the ball well from the field, but it's her deceptive speed and her ability to space the floor out and then strike that really caught my eye.
