Emily has great length and athleticism as a guard. She drove to the basket with a burst to get by her defender and completed the play with a smooth inside hand finish. Emily is competitive and has a next-play mentality. After her shot was blocked, Emily immediately got the ball back by applying aggressive pressure on the perimeter, jumping up to deflect the pass, and securing the loose ball for a steal. She crashed the glass to secure offensive rebounds, finished confidently with her left at the rim, maintained a wide/athletic stance on defense, and moved her feet quickly laterally to stop dribble penetration. Emily used a good crossover and spin move to create space and switched hands to get an open look at the rim. She's a promising prospect, and it showed at MBA Train and Play.

Kennedy displayed strength, skill, IQ, and two-way abilities that caught my attention during the MBA Train and Play. She made one of the best passes of the day. Kennedy cut hard to the basket, caught the pass, didn't have the scoring angle, anticipated an open teammate cutting behind her, and immediately offloaded a quick one-more for the assist on an easy layup. She demonstrated confidence using over-cross dribbles to create space against pressure with her left and was an active rebounder. Kennedy caught passes loaded and balanced on the perimeter, generating power from her legs on the shots to increase accuracy. She drained a smooth three from the slot with a defender closing out and moved to open space, then ripped the net with a triple from the wing off the hop. Her defense and communication were a separator. Kennedy talked constantly on defense, calling out directions against screens. She deflected an entry pass using textbook denial technique, moved her feet to stop drives, and showed her strength by not yielding an inch when drivers tried to move her off her spot. Kalamazoo Christian is adding an impact player to their roster.

Sydney was impressive and consistent from start to finish at the MBA Train and Play. In drills, she scored in the paint with excellent touch and body control on her finishes. She defended a 2-on-1 perfectly, rotating quickly to force the miss. Sydney continued to stand out in games. She's a sharpshooter from beyond the arc and knocked down the open three. Sydney swished a straightaway three, drained another up top, and buried a triple from the slot. She plays with a high IQ at point guard or as a two guard. Sydney has good instincts off the ball. She made smart cuts, filled space, and defended cuts well on the defensive end to eliminate easy layups. Sydney ripped by with a burst down the baseline to beat her defender off the dribble and scored with a nice inside hand finish. She caught a pass in the paint, recognized the disadvantage, and showed poise by retreat-dribbling to the perimeter to reset the offense. Sydney changed speeds, switched hands with ease, used overcrosses and head fakes to keep defenders off balance, and competed with a high motor. She has a bright future ahead at Allendale.

Peyton is an athletic, shifty, and talented point guard prospect who made the trip up from South Bend for MBA Train and Play. She's a dual-threat scorer who can change directions quickly, penetrate gaps, and finish at the rim with a good touch in traffic. Peyton showed off her range and accuracy beyond the arc. She created the space needed with a crafty double-crossover combination, kept her balance, then buried the silky-smooth straightaway three with a hand in her face. Peyton drained a straightaway three off the bounce and is an Indiana playmaker to keep your eyes on in the MBA program.

Forwards with 6-foot-plus length, athleticism, mobility, and advanced fundamental skills for their age and position immediately catch your attention as a scout. Hannah was that exciting new prospect at MBA Train and Play on Sunday. She made good transfers to finish with her right and left efficiently in the drills. Hannah used her length to disrupt shots inside and on the perimeter. She moved her feet to defend a drive and swatted a shot away to protect the basket. Hannah anticipated a shot on the perimeter and closed out with a high hand to block the attempt. She was effective in screen-and-roll actions, made herself big with outstretched hands, and gained an advantage with wide/strong seals in the post. Hannah made smart reads, didn't force when defenders doubled her inside, and demonstrated great passing instincts. She made an unselfish kick-out pass to the perimeter for an assist. Hannah has good hands, made smooth transfers to finish in traffic, and scored multiple layups off basket cuts. When she started facing up and attacking off the dribble from the perimeter, that's when her ceiling as a very high-level prospect became evident. She drove downhill past defenders and showed off her athleticism, jumping up to score with a soft finish off the glass. Hannah created separation with a between-the-legs crossover combination and took the open three. She looks like a forward prospect who will be competing for a top spot in this class.

Zoe immediately stands out with her length, athleticism, physicality, and versatility as a forward. She makes good cuts to the basket, uses her strength to establish the advantage, protects the ball, catches passes with soft hands, and finishes well off two feet. Zoe can step outside and hit the three, and she has sharp instincts in the passing lanes, which lead to steals. Zoe solidified the interior on both ends of the court at MBA Train and Play. She will be an exciting prospect to watch in the Northview program over the next four years.
