Expert Analysis
Mike Benson | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
I think Leah is going to play a lot of minutes this season for Minot. She would have played on a lot of other teams earlier in her career if she wasn’t playing behind LeeLee Bell for the last three seasons. She is a tall forward who has excellent footwork. She ducks-in at the basket and can finish through contact. She also is able to pivot and hit the soft mid-lane jump shot. Leah has an array of ways to score including hard drives from the high post, utilizing a jump stop, and shooting a floater over a bigger defender. She produces multiple ‘and-one’ opportunities throughout contests.
