More Talented Seniors Who Aren’t Committed

As we get closer to the 2026-27 season, we will look at some uncommitted players who are heading into their final season of high school basketball. Numerous players may commit before the season starts, but we will look at some intriguing prospects preparing for their last high school season. We will have more preseason content, including my official preseason predictions for Sectional Champions and State Champions, before the season tips off. That said, let's discuss some talented players in the senior class.

The Madison native is a reliable creator. Harden can handle the ball under pressure and help her coaches run the offenses they want as an extension of the staff on the floor. Harden has always been a pass-first player who helps her teammates get open looks. She isn't a guard who will always hunt her own shot, but she can attack off the dribble and put defenses in uncomfortable positions. Her teammates will love having her as a lead guard at the next level.

The Hudson native comes from a basketball family and has an excellent IQ at the point of attack. Larson handles herself well and is a confident perimeter shooter. She never looks rushed and never appears to let the pressure get to her. Her perimeter shooting forces defenses to pick her up higher, which will extend the defense. She isn't flashy, but she will make plays at the next level. She will be a pleasant surprise for whichever staff lands her at the next level.

Warren is a forward who caught coaches' attention at the state tournament this past March. Warren showed she can space the floor, knock down shots, and defend around the basket. She blocked numerous shots while playing at the heart of her team's 2-3 zone, and changed the type of shots the opposing team took in that semifinal. She has the physical tools to be a game changer on both ends of the floor at the next level.

Maybe the most intriguing player to watch this season will be Xavier's [player_tooltip player_id='751258' first='Elle' last='Krull']. Krull is coming off two knee injuries and is one of the more intriguing unknowns. Krull was a crucial part of the Hawks' run to state in her first season of high school basketball, and has been as engaged as anyone on her team during her recovery. She has excellent defensive instincts and plays well within a team structure. Krull has the leadership qualities to impact winning and will be someone college coaches should see if they get a chance. She's the type of player and person you can't help but root for.
