Ava Uhrich- 2023, 5’10”, Shooting Guard & Center, #44, Burlingame High School (Burlingame, CA)
Ava Uhrich is an up and coming star player. This sophomore has talent, skill, and she is very physical. Ava is the type of player that can body up most defenders. Ava’s height is a big advantage for her shooting guard position. She is a very innovative player that can create her own shots, and the majority of the time she’ll be able to finish her shots. She is also very good at scoring with a defender on her. Ava Uhrich averaged 13.7 PPG, and scored a total of 342 points her freshman season. That is impressive for a freshman, a freshman that score over 200 points during their season is great. Her field goal percentage was 51%, and her free throw percentage was 58%. Her skill as a dribbler is phenomenal, considering her height and position as a Center. If you’re a big player and can dribble, you have skill. I believe Ava will lead her team to greatness in upcoming years at Burlingame High School. You will not want to miss Ava Play.

Makayla Heffernan- 2023, Shooting Guard, #11, Ann Sobrato High School (Morgan Hill, CA)
I don’t have much to say about Makayla yet, but based on what I’ve read about her, she is a motivated player. She is labeled as a key newcomer for her Ann Sobrato High School team of Morgan Hill, CA. She is definitely an up-and-coming player and deserves some recognition. Makayla is very poised during gameplay, and you can always tell she is very focused when playing. She has earned all-tournament honors during her freshman season. She averaged 9.6 PPG, scored a total of 154 points during her freshman season. She averaged 2.3 APG, 2.6 RPG, and 1.8 SPG. She is a very strong shooting guard, with a lot of potentials. Makayla has the rest of her high school career to improving, and she has nowhere to go but up. Makayla has lots of room for improvement, and I have no doubt that she will work on her skills during this upcoming season. Hopefully, COVID allows more gameplay this fall and the following spring.
Fiona Burns- 2023, 5’7”, Shooting Guard, #0, Burlingame High School (Burlingame, CA)
Fiona Burns of Burlingame High School is part of a strong group of Freshman on their Varsity team. Fiona is looking to lead her team to success for her future high school seasons. Sometimes Burns outscores her older and more experienced teammates during games. She and her fellow freshman help score about half of the team’s points during games. I think it’s great to have freshman taking initiative on their Varsity teams, it shows that they have what it takes to compete at a high level. Fiona averaged 4.9 PPG, and scored a total of 122 points during her freshman season, and averaged about 4.2 RPG. Fiona is also very active on defense. She has lots of potential to improve during her sophomore, junior, and senior season. Fiona is a very intelligent basketball player and knows her team’s strengths and weaknesses. She is able to apply herself to her team when it’s needed. Very excited to see her improvements in the upcoming seasons.
