Pt. 2 – Title IX All DMV Tournament Team: Presented By Prep Girls Hoops MD/DC/VA

<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #000080;text-decoration: underline"><strong>Part Two - Title IX All DMV Tournament Team: Presented By Prep Girls Hoops MD/DC/VA</strong></span></span> &nbsp; The Title IX Holiday Classic hosted over 75 teams from across the country and Prep Girls Hoops was in the building for the entire duration of the three day event.  With so many teams and players this list will be very extensive but, rest assured there was a lot of outstanding play on the five courts. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #800000;text-decoration: underline"><strong>Jessica Tomasetti - Good Counsel</strong></span></span> &nbsp; [caption id="attachment_22946" align="alignnone" width="150"] Jessica Tomasetti[/caption] Since losing senior Chloe Chapman to injury for the season the Falcons have been looking for the next player to step up.  Jessica Tomasetti has emerged as the next star in her breakout game against Oxon Hill.  With the game tied at 33 Tomasetti scored 11 straight points to break open the game turning it into a 16 point victory.  The Falcons went 3-0 winning the bracket as she 17 points per game. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #800000;text-decoration: underline"><strong>Dominique Doss - Franklin School</strong></span></span> [caption id="attachment_17980" align="alignnone" width="150"] Dominique Doss[/caption] Doss controlled the pace and tempo of each of Franklin's games.  She uses her body well to rebound gathering ten plus a game.  She dropped 21 points and 15 boards in a game against cross town rival Coppin Academy. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #800000;text-decoration: underline"><strong>Denai Bowman - Gwynn Park</strong></span></span> [caption id="attachment_20958" align="alignnone" width="150"] Denai Bowman[/caption] Gwynn Park went 1-2 with two very close losses in the Dennis Thompson Bracket.  In a three point loss to Maret, Bowman dropped a tournament high 37 points in a dramatic fashion.  She used her athleticism to get to open spots for a mid range pull-up or get all the way to the basket.  Her aggressiveness got her plenty of free throw opportunities. &nbsp; <span style="color: #800000;text-decoration: underline"><strong>Alexi Hempe - TPLS Christian Academy</strong></span> [caption id="attachment_22206" align="alignnone" width="150"] Alexi Hempe[/caption] Alexi averaged around 14 points per game and dropped a game high 18 points against Crestwood academy in a loss.  The senior headed to the University of South Dakota showed of her range and the ability to attack and finish in transition.  TPLS went 1-2 she, however, had a great showing on the big stage. &nbsp; <span style="color: #800000;text-decoration: underline"><strong>Ava McGee - Maret School</strong></span> [caption id="attachment_22947" align="alignnone" width="150"] Ava McGee[/caption] Maret came into the Title IX undefeated and left with two losses.  McGee started making her presence felt early scoring 17 of her 21 points in the first half of game one against Coppin Academy and 22 points in a win in game two.  She's really good facing up from the wing but, she's equally impressive with her back to the basket. &nbsp; <span style="color: #800000;text-decoration: underline"><strong>Zanai Barnett - CMIT North</strong></span> &nbsp; Zania proved herself as one of the areas top freshmen and one of the top shooters of any class.  She has an accurate shot from beyond the arc.  She scored 21 points in her game against Franklin School which included five 3-pointers, &nbsp;
