Ashton Fox- 6’2, C, 2021,Logan Elm: This girl has a very bright future, with so much to offer at the next level! She has a pretty drop step, uses the backboard very well, and takes the ball up with authority inside! Great footwork on the block, and impressed with how she calls for the ball. Makes nice passes to teammates when cutting to the basket. Strong rebounder, definitely creates issues for opponents trying to come inside!
Bailey Beckstedt- 5’8, PG/SG, 2022,Sheridan: One of the smoothest guards in Ohio! Love her defense- she does a tremendous job in denying passes. Great handles, can handle pressure defense, very high basketball IQ, and she can shoot! She can hurt you with the 3’s, or break down her defender and take it to the basket. Great court awareness, quick! She’s a tough player!
Kalleigh Rennie- 5’5, SG, 2023, Watkins Memorial: She’s a hard worker! Scrappy on both ends of the floor, makes solid decisions on transition, and has light feet! Rennie goes full speed, which works to her advantage in the ability to control the game speed and tempo. Defensively, she picks pockets and puts pressure on the ball. Can shoot the mid range and outside shot, and can dribble penetrate.
Alexia Gartner- 5’9, SG/PG, 2022, Watkins Memorial: Gartner has an aggressive mindset, and a nice all-around athlete! With her strong body, she plays very well both offensively and defensively. She positions herself well on the block, and has nice drop step moves to the basket. Can also hurt opponents from the outside, and has no problem handling the ball. She positions her body well in rebounding, and is a solid defender.
Abby Rawlings- 5’4, G, 2023, Kings: I was impressed with Abby’s decision making- she has a good sense of knowing when to push on transition, and when to set up the offense. Quick feet, and strong defender. Can hit the open three, has nice handles, can take the ball coast to coast, and sees the open teammate.
