Below are a few players in the class of 2024 that are making noise early in season action. Each one of these players have been consistent so far and have been key players within their team’s offense.
Jazzmine Smith | Wisconsin Lutheran | 5’8 G
Smith has been a spark plug for this Wisconsin Lutheran squad. She has shown so much confidence on the floor and has been nearly unstoppable when attacking the basket. She’s a dynamic guard who also embraces the post position for this team. Her ability to rebound the ball at her size is impressive. She is currently leading the Woodland- West conference in scoring by averaging 19 points per game. In a great team win against Whitnall, Smith scored 30 points for her team.
McKenna Johnson | Wilmot | 5’8 G
Johnson has been a consistent offensive threat for her team this season. In a game against Union Grove, Johnson finished with 21 points. She’s shown how athletically gifted she is and how she understands her role on the floor. Johnson is a clear competitor and can be a standout prospect on both ends. A guard who seems most comfortable downhill, Johnson does not hesitate on the perimeter either. She is averaging 19 points per game for Wilmot.
Carly Drew Carly Drew 5'8" | CG Westfield | 2024 State WI | Westfield | 5’9 W
Drew has such an impressive game so early on. She has great length on the perimeter and is an asset on both ends. She can handle the ball well and has a bag full of finish moves. She is confident in the paint as well, making her a dynamic prospect already. She is averaging 14 points per game for her team and had a huge 19 point game in a win against Wautoma.
Keona McGee Keona McGee 5'8" | SG Dominican | 2024 State WI | Dominican | 5’8 G
McGee has been a fantastic shooter for her team this season. Her patience and composure on the court is extremely impressive. She can drive from the perimeter and finishes strong against contact. She pushes the ball in transition and has a quick euro step in the lane. This season she’s shown how crafty her handles are by her ability to finish strong with either hand. She is averaging nearly 16 points per game. In a win over St. Thomas More, McGee finished with a season-high 24 points.
Ava Collier-White Ava Collier-White 5'4" | PG Prairie | 2024 State WI | The Prairie School | 5’4 PG
A standout point guard who quickly became the floor general for her team this season. She exudes to push poise and confidence on the floor. She is averaging 11 points per game. She can score effectively in the lane and is comfortable knocking down the three point shot as well. Collier-White does well creating her own shot or using a pull up before approaching taller defenders. In a win against Living Word Lutheran, she scored 17 points for her team.
Ally Timm Ally Timm 5'11" | SG DSHA | 2024 State WI | DSHA | 5’10 G
As expected Timm is off to a fantastic season in the Greater Metro classic. A versatile guard who is a complete three level scorer. The ceiling is incredibly high for Timm. She is averaging nearly 14 points per game this season. She is very talented in transition play and clearly has a high basketball IQ proven by her smart passes and shot selections. In a win over Brookfield East, Timm scored 23 points for her team.
Allie Ziebell Allie Ziebell 5'11" | SG Neenah | 2024 State WI | Neenah | 6’0 W
Ziebell is an impact player on both ends as well. She’s gifted athletically and has great fundamentals on the floor. She has tremendous energy on the floor and seems to make her teammates better as well. With so much offensive pressure on Ziebell, she’s found great ways to be a facilitator on the floor. Her slashing ability is impressive and she uses her body very well when attacking the rim. She will knock down the pertimer shot and has become more confident taking risks behind the arc. She is averaging 16 points per game this season.
