Expert Analysis
Al Schell | Prep Girls Hoops Scout
Amori looked comfortable and confident on the court while getting some extra run in with her high school coach. She had her shot working deep, in the mid-range and she was getting to the rim and finishing. She played good defense, using goof footwork to stay in front of people and she held up well on screens. She is committed to Rhode Island.

If you’ve been looking for Amori, we’ve found her. She has jetted Pikesville and landed at Shabach Christian Academy. She should get a chance to compete on more of a national stage but may have to make the adjustment from being go to player to learning a role. She brought out the three pointer for the scrimmage and did really well on the boards to create extra opportunities.

I caught Amori’s first game action with her new squad, Team Durant. In the first game she played a few minutes and looked like she was just getting comfortable with her new teammates and surroundings. In the second contest she got more minutes and was more assertive, showing off her complete skill set. She ran some point guard, which is not her natural position, and fared quite well. She has good vision and can make all the necessary passes. She looked more comfortable playing off ball, where she was free to focus on getting buckets. The mid-range jumper was working and she was getting into the paint. She knocked down some threes and was very active on defense. It was a pretty good showing overall.
