Memorial
Riley McCloskey Riley McCloskey 5'3" | PG Memorial | 2023 State TX
McCloskey continues to not only expand her game, but she also showed she could put the ball in the basket multiple ways by creating her shot under pressure. Yes, she understands how to run a team as well as control the tempo, and watching her throw blazing passes with either hand this season showed me how much work she has been putting in yet her ability to get to the basket, set defenders up for the midrange and dropping the long ball was on full display
Abigail Tomaski Abigail Tomaski 6'0" | SG Memorial | 2023 State TX
Tomaski is smooth with the ball and she opened the game up with a beautiful and one however that has become something I’ve grown accustomed to seeing from her but she elevates on her jumper, she can create it while being guarded tightly, and the mid to long-range can create some problems. She also can handle the ball in the open court and make passes going full speed, let me leave out her defense keeps getting better as well as her rebounding
Nicolette Polocheck Nicolette Polocheck 6'0" | PF Memorial | 2024 State TX
Polocheck keeps showing signs of becoming a #BEAST and her #THROWBACK mentality falls into the “something you just can’t teach” and I talk about things I watch when I evaluate players and one of the most important things, someone will steal this, is I watch how players do things instinctively as well as, they’ll steal this too, how they react in certain situations. She’s a battler and you won’t outwork her so either by attacking and finishing strongly or showing she can score facing the basket, trust me…
Jersey Village
Aerial Johnson-5’10 PF
Johnson gave me a good first look, she understands how to get the positioning, somewhat of a lost art, and rebounded on both ends. She also showed power in the paint on her field goal attempts and applied solid pressure on defense and battled for loose balls. Love her upside, she also understands how to get hers in the flow
Mariyah Brown-5’10 SF
Brown is “long and athletic” remember I use that as a base and having seen her before, I love what she’s added by working on her game. She too has a good ceiling, she goes after loose balls, has good timing on defense to block, deflect and (or) alter shots but she also showed she could put it on the floor and attack from the wing, not to mention create from outside the paint to shoot the short jumper
Ma’Riya Vincent Ma’Riya Vincent 6'0" | SF Cy Springs | 2024 State TX
Vincent continues evolving, she too is “long and athletic’ and her desire to just get after it is going to take her a long way yet she is showing signs of controlling a game on both ends, she plays the passing lane very well, she defends in and outside of the paint and she can handle the ball in the open court, under pressure yet the pressure she applies when taking those long strides and attacking the rim is complemented nicely by her midrange game
