Taliah had an electrifying first quarter that set the tone in Maynard Jackson’s destruction of Union Grove, 80-55. Cornish netted 11 points in the opening frame and finished with 25 points, 2 rebounds and 3 assists. The lightning quick playmaker scored from all three levels. Cornish scored with both hands downhill. She does a good job getting to her spots and can burn defenders that try to run her off the three-point line with her off the dribble game.
