Quigley finished this game with 11 points and 6 rebounds, working hard down low and coming away with tough rebounds surrounded by opponents. It wasn’t an incredible showing for the team as a whole but this performance showed that Manchester Township can rely on the freshman throughout this season.
5th Star: Dorothy Loffredo, Manasquan: Every player isn’t going to blow up for a double-double every game, in order for teams to succeed they need role players who know how to properly fill out their role. Dorothy Loffredo played her style of basketball to perfection in this one, helping lead Manasquan to a huge win. Not doing too much, Loffredo ended the night with a very solid stat line of 8 points and 7 rebounds. Those numbers aren’t insane, but her hard work made life so much more difficult on Manchester Township.
