First off, there is not going to be much movement, but obvious athletes who have committed and signed from the last time we did our rankings. Second, PGHCalifornia ranks (4) times per year and we do that to keep the rankings updated and fair as possible. We do miss kids every once in a while, but we do our best to get out and see girls during these difficult times. Most of our writers have been able to get out to an occasional workout, camp or shootout that have been going on in other states. It has been really hard for us to make any headway, but in this 2024 rankings edition, we will do our best to make things fair and correct.
With the COVID19 epidemic going on and the state being in a PURPLE status, meaning we cannot do any indoor sports, it has been really tough to evaluate kids. We have made it happen by attending some events that were local and we got a chance to see some new girls and add them to the list, which make this all worth the while. If we miss someone, we will get it right sooner than later, cause we are making notes on kids who have not been talked about before. Everyone knows about the 3,4 and 5 star girls, but the kids on the cusp of being known are the ones we are motivated to write about.
I am sure everyone has seen the McDonalds All Star Roster list of girls and I would like to say that (4) So-Cal girls from our rankings were selected. I will be writing an article about that was well this month. Enjoy all of the rankings updates this month coming and be on the look out for the updated list, it is going to grow quite a bit.
