2024 Watch List: Top Guards

As we take our first glance at the top guards of the class of 2024, we are introduced to a riveting group of players with particular and outstanding individual talents.  [player_tooltip player_id="255259" first="Kyleigh" last="Brown"] has made a name for herself as an exciting point guard who plays with a high motor.  [player_tooltip player_id="255261" first="Danaeja" last="Romero Ah-Sam"] has been getting busy on the AAU circuit, making a point as a highly skilled and all-around guard.  [player_tooltip player_id="256230" first="Kasey" last="Booster"] is a confident and able shooting guard who has a scorer’s mentality out of Bend, OR.  [player_tooltip player_id="256229" first="Audrey" last="Meek"] has some big shoe to fill but has shown some huge strides as a shooting guard with variability and skill. <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="255259" first="Kyleigh" last="Brown"] 2024 5’5" PG NW Select/Silverton HS</strong> - Kyleigh is a dynamic and highly skilled guard who plays at a downhill pace but also can react to her surroundings with her superb awareness and ball handling skills.  She has wiggle getting to the basket and can finish at the rim nicely or find teammates in optimal positions.  Can knock down the open three-pointer.  </span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="255261" first="Danaeja" last="Romero Ah-Sam"] 2024 5’7" SG NW Blazers/Springfield HS</strong> - Silky smooth guard who operates at a high level with her adept guard skills, can create opportunities off the dribble.  Three-level scorer.  Can work in the paint against smaller defenders and can take slower defenders off the dribble.  Good facilitator and innovative when the ball is in her hands.  </span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="256230" first="Kasey" last="Booster"] 2024 5’6" Three Peaks/Mountainview HS</strong> - Kasey is a highly confident guard who can shoot it at a high clip.  She is the type to let it go from deep on a break.  She is also an above average passer who has a knack for finding the seals on the break or half-court set.  Good offensive knowledge and works tremendously on the defensive end as well.  </span> <span style="font-weight: 400;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="256229" first="Audrey" last="Meek"] 2024 5’7" SG Clutch Players/Southridge HS</strong> - Audrey has basketball in her veins as her father is the head coach at the University of Portland where her older sister McKelle is also playing.  She follows the footsteps of her older sister as a calculated and disciplined guard who has a certain swagger and suaveness at the guard position.  A keen scorer and adept ball-handler.  </span> &nbsp;
