Chipps is a scrappy player, and aggressive on the defensive end. She came up with some big steals at critical times throughout the game, and definitely helps ignite this strong and talented team. Not afraid to crash the boards. Sophie played most of the game, and contributed 4 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 steals to help Napoleon into the state title game tomorrow.
Ella Rausch- G, 5’9, 2022, Napoleon Ella came into the game, giving Napoleon strong minutes. She has length, that no doubt helps her on the defensive side. She can rebound the ball, and hit a much needed 3 that gave her team a boost! What impressed me was her hustle, willingness to go after loose balls. Every position is big at states- and she delivered!
Caely Ressler- G, 6’0, 2021, Napoleon Without question, a big leader for Napoleon. She played nearly the entire game- has a great motor, athletic, handles the ball well, and plays with poise. She had 2 big blocks, and hit behind the arc twice. She led her team in rebounds with 6- she crashes the boards well! Fun player to watch- look for her to have a strong game again in tomorrow’s final game!
Sydney Franklin- G, 5’5, 2021, Carroll Sydney played big minutes off the bench. I was impressed with how alert she plays on defense- her hands are up, she plays great help side, and boxes out well. She had good handles, and quick feet.
Megan Leraas Megan Leraas 5'10" | SG Dayton Carroll | 2021 OH – F, 5’9, 2021, Carroll Really like how she plays the game- so smooth, pretty shooting form, and can hurt you inside or outside. Made a big 3 to start off the 4th quarter. She scored 10 points, and grabbed 6 rebounds for Carroll. Makes smart decisions. Big time leader for this team! (Featured Photo)
