Rankings Update- 2021 stockrisers Part 3

It’s that time again.... the PGH Ohio rankings update. Over the next few weeks, make sure you check back as we update each class including the first rankings of the 2024 class. We will be taking a look at the the players who saw their stock rise as I will be focusing on the Southwest Ohio kids, Angie Saiter will be looking at kids in her territory, and we will be combining forces to look at other players from around Ohio. Today a look at my first five 2021 players who saw their stock rise since the previous rankings. <span style="font-size: 14pt; font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id="32575" first="Emma" last="Hess"], 6-0 Legacy Christian<a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/04/Hess-crop-547x360-1617415743.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-268702 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/04/Hess-crop-547x360-1617415743-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a></strong></span> She leaves the prep scene with a legacy that will be tough to follow for a while at Legacy Christian. She showcased her skills while leading her team into the regional tournament before running into a talented Tri Village team. Emma <em>(pictured left) </em>heads off to Liberty University after earning the Ohio Division 4 Player of the Year award. Incredible mid-range game, likely the best in Ohio. Smooth and silky on the court, able to control the game and has incredible court vision. Ready for the next level. &nbsp; <span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="91067" first="Clarissa" last="Craig"], 6-2 Cincinnati Roger Bacon</span></strong></span> Strong powerful post player who put together a very solid season for the Spartans. She can use her size well to control the paint, can score with either hand and is a big factor defensively with her ability to alter or block shots. Aggressive with strong hands and uses her feet well to get into position. Honored as a first-team all-district player. <span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="266963" first="Molly" last="Howard"], 5-11 McDonald</span></strong></span> She actually makes her debut in the PGH rankings in the final review of this class. Loved her game at the state tournament, played well on the big stage and sent her team into the championship game before running into a buzzsaw from Fort Loramie. Molly <em>(featured photo above) </em>has very good body control around the rim, can score well in the midrange and has a good elevation on her shot. Also can score at the rim, rebound and lead the break. <span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;"><a href="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/04/Mader-scaled-crop-1150x755-1617415141.jpg"><img class="size-medium wp-image-268695 alignleft" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/04/Mader-scaled-crop-1150x755-1617415141-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></a>[player_tooltip player_id="91110" first="Ashleigh" last="Mader"], 5-8 Tipp City Tippecanoe</span></strong></span> Ashleigh <em>(pictured left) </em>makes her debut in the Top 60 in her class with another great year leading her team to an undefeated regular season record. Ashleigh has great range, good handles and can score off the dribble or the pass. Gets rid of the ball quickly and from beyond the arc. Loves to play in transition and is able to utilize her many talents to help her team. Very solid on-ball defender. <span style="font-family: ’arial black’, sans-serif;"><strong><span style="font-size: 14pt;">[player_tooltip player_id="159037" first="Kenna" last="Gray"], 5-7 Tipp City Bethel<img class="size-medium wp-image-219380 alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2020/11/Kenna-300x197.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="197" /></span></strong></span> Kenna <em>(pictured right) </em>also moved up from the watch list into the Top 60 with a solid senior season. Nearly averaged a double-double with a strong perimeter game, handles the ball well and for her size, she is a force on the boards. She knows where she needs to be and how to get her offense their best option. Loves to play north-south and will finish in transition. Headed to NAIA top-five power Marian.
