Standouts Players: Riverdale Baptist vs Wise

<span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #000080;font-size: 14pt"><strong>Riverdale Baptist Cruises Past Wise On Senior Night</strong></span></span> &nbsp; Riverdale Baptist have been taking their show on the road playing close to 80% of their games against teams from out of town.  Locally they are undefeated, and for senior night Dr. Henry Wise came to the building for the challenge.  As for the game, this one was over in the first five minutes as Riverdale was up 18-2 at that point.  The lead ballooned to 31-4 and the Crusaders cleared their bench giving some of the younger players some experience.  By the break it was 40-8 and the Pumas went in teaching mode to prepare for the playoffs starting next week.  <strong>Gabrielle Williams</strong> played hard score all of the Pumas first quarter points and <strong>Dyon Hawkins</strong> led Wise in the second half.  The Crusaders played tough defense without pressing the ball only allowing four made field goals in route to a 74-18 win. &nbsp; Standout Players: &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #993366"><strong>Seniors:</strong></span></span> [caption id="attachment_27563" align="alignnone" width="150"] Rayne Tucker[/caption] <strong>Rayne Tucker</strong> (JMU commit) led the game with 15 points while playing in front of her future college coach.  She was also the leading rebounder with 16 boards.  Normally playing with her back to the basket, she showed her ability to face up and attack the basket. &nbsp; <strong>Yanni Hendley</strong> was also in double figures with 10 points despite playing limited minutes.  She played the passing lanes well getting steals and transitioning to the basket.  She added 5 boards and 3 assists in her final home game. &nbsp; *Senior Jayla James (Penn State commit) did not play due to injury. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #993366"><strong>Juniors</strong></span></span> [caption id="attachment_27564" align="alignnone" width="150"] Synia Johnson[/caption] <strong>Synia Johnson</strong> scored 10 points in what seemed to be a few minutes of play.  She moved the ball up court faster than anyone on the floor and probably could have put up a 50 piece with more minutes.  The North Point transfer has been a nice addition for the Crusaders. &nbsp; <strong>Taniyah Greene</strong> was one of the most complete players on the floor.  She was able to make plays at the rim with little resistance.  She had 8 rebounds to go along with her 12 points even though she watch most of the game from the sidelines cheering on the younger players. &nbsp; <span style="text-decoration: underline"><span style="color: #993366"><strong>Freshmen</strong></span></span> [caption id="attachment_27567" align="alignnone" width="150"] Jalyn Brown[/caption] <strong>Jalyn Brown</strong> got some valuable minutes in and turned the head of a division one coach that was in the building.  Her athleticism and skill was evident as soon as she touched the ball. &nbsp; <strong>Kirah Dandridge</strong> as a freshman has the perfect basket ball body.  She used that body to attack the basket and draw contact getting to the line several times.
