The talent was sizzling over the weekend in Westfield, Indiana, at the Live! At The PAC exposure event! The competition was outstanding! Over the next several days, we will focus on players who caught our attention!
[player_tooltip player_id="211795" first="Chloe" last="Chard-Peloquin"]: 6’3, Wing/Stretch, 2022, Ohio Elite 2022, Newark Catholic H.S.: (Below, with basketball) I love how Chloe just simply plays the game-she's all heart! Handles the ball well, and man is she hungry for rebounds! Her length causes problems for opponents, because she's so versatile, and has no problem blocking! Quick, wonderful footwork in the paint, and she can go hard, all game! Her fundamentals are so strong, combined with great athleticism! She moves very well without the ball. She's a scoring threat everywhere!
[player_tooltip player_id="159379" first="Torie" last="Utter"]: 5’6, PG/SG, 2022, Ohio Elite 2022, Georgetown H.S.: Utter is relentless on both ends of the court! She can shoot deep, has a smooth mid-range jumper- all nothing but net! I really like how she handles the ball in transition, and in traffic. Makes smart choices, and plays under control. Her defense is fantastic, makes it difficult for opponents to get in a rhythm. Overall very solid player and will be a great asset to Thomas More University!
Kate Ratliff: 5’11, G/F, 2023, Ohio Impact 2023/24, Canal Winchester H.S.: Coaches, keep your eyes on her! I'm impressed with how she makes plays in the half court, makes nice crisp passes and moves the ball around. Her cuts to the basket are quick and aggressive. Nice footwork inside, good body control while taking the ball hard to the basket, and has a pretty outside shot with a long range. Attacks the glass! She's got game!
[player_tooltip player_id="217328" first="Airah" last="Lavy"]: 5’9, PG/SG, 2024, Team Ohio Connor, Nelsonville-York H.S.: (Below with basketball) Lavy just keeps getting better and better each game! She's a great shooter behind the arc- from anywhere, defenders need to know where she is at all times! She has no problem taking the ball to the basket. Has nice handles, makes the right choices on transition and while setting up offense. Sees the floor well. She's got a bright future!
[player_tooltip player_id="159361" first="Kalista" last="Friday"]: 5’2, PG, 2022, OV Lady Dragons, Monroe Central H.S.: Friday is a confident ball handler, who makes the right moves at the right time- penetrates to the basket and creates easy shots for her teammates. She knows how to balance the floor, get the ball moving, and create movement among the team. She is a scorer- can hit the 3's, mid range jumpers, and creates easy buckets for herself because of her ability to pick off passes. Quick feet, hands, and fun to watch! (Featured Photo)
