Meghan would hit the floor hard, pick herself up and score. She would the hit the floor pull herself up and score again. She did this to the tune of a game high 25 points. She showed toughness as she could have easily subbed herself out but she just seemed to thrive off of contact and physicality. She also showed some finesse in hitting outside shots, even knocking down a three.

Meghan Yarnevich battled all game for Bullis. Meghan did great work in the post early in the game, and she showed her ability to finish with either hand. She worked on the glass and finished through a lot of bodies. She got injured toward the end of the game but came back and continued playing well.

Meghan seeks out rebounds with a passion and I could see this as her specialty in college. She clears out the area giving her the best chance to secure the board. In the 50/50 battle she will usually win off of her strength and desire.

2025′ Bullis Meghan Yarnevich Meghan Yarnevich Meghan Yarnevich 6'2" | C Bullis | 2025 State MD

Yarnevich had a MONSTER weekend for Bullis in her home gym at DMV LIVE. She averaged 21.8 points and 10.8 rebounds through 4 games, including an impressive 31-point, 9-rebound performance in a win over The Steward School. The rising senior is simply dominant in the post; her ability to seal her defender and finish at the rim made her a handful for opposing teams. As expected, Yarnevich drew a handful of fouls and shot free throws at a clip of nearly 80% this weekend. She proved to be one of the top inside threats in the area punishing single coverage in the post at will.

-Yarnevich is probably the most consistently-productive prospect that I’ve seen so far this summer, thriving at both ends as a rebounder while providing some rim protection as a drop big. Really good finisher in traffic, very skilled with good footwork and a soft touch, gets to the line often and makes her FTs. Yarnevich seeks out and can finish through the contact, operating well as a passing hub from the high post or low block. She sometimes will dribble or spin into a crowd instead of kicking back out and re-posting, needs to start seeing the dump off to the weak side big when she faces the rim and is doubled on the catch because it’s there. Next step in her development as a low post scorer will be to spin and seal to the opposite side when she is 3/4 denied on the block to get an easy post feed with good position deep in the paint after the ball reversal to her half of the court.

Meghan was pretty unstoppable inside the entire tournament. She got to the line repeatedly looking to make a play each time she touched the ball. She dropped in 31 points against the Steward School in a 73-63 win. She needs to tighten up her range outside as she was 0-7 from three, it’s a shot she can make and she has earned the right to attempt a few. If that becomes a weapon watch out.

Meghan Yarnevich had a huge game for Bullis against Steward. She was unstoppable in the paint, and Steward truly had no answer. I talked about what makes Meghan so good yesterday, and she showed me all those things again. Her physicality, effort, and skill set her apart, and they were the biggest differences between the teams. She hauled in many offensive rebounds and lived at the foul line. Meghan finished with 31 points and 9 rebounds.

Meghan Yarnavich battled with Jemma Eleby Jemma Eleby Jemma Eleby 6'1" | PF Catholic | 2025 State VA throughout the game. She was a monster on the offensive glass and did great work out of the post. She had a dagger and one that capped off her great game. I love how physical Meghan is; she doesn’t shy away from any contact. When she gets to her left hand, it’s usually game over. She finished with 22 points and 9 rebounds.

Meghan was bothered in the championship game early by the Mustangs length.  She adjusted and stretched the floor knocking down a couple of mid range shots and a three.  This opened up her dropping in the paint and going on a big run.  She is using her left inside more and her touch in the lane was really good the entire tournament.

After 4 points in the quarter final, Meghan turned heads and 27 and 13 boards in the semi finals.  Now heading into the championship everyone is anticipating what she will bring for the season finale.  She has been really good attacking from the high post and her strength with her back to the basket has been overpowering.  She has went away from jacking up jumpers and playing to her strength making her the top interior player in the region.
