Paran Katelyn showed toughness. The compact little guard was able to control tempo with her ball handling. She’s a scrappy on-ball defender. On offense, Dunning is effective out of the pick-and-roll. She shot well, hitting multiple threes and scoring off the dribble from the mid-range. Dunning scored with floaters inside. 5-8 SG [player_tooltip player_id="210303" first="Tamia" last="Smith"] – Atlanta Celtics – Baldwin Smith is a skilled slasher. She has good footwork to the rim and a deceptively quick first step. She has the strength to absorb contact. 5-2 G Sydney Peake – Team Elite Peake – Greenbrier At 5-foot-2, the three-point shot was the great equalizer for Sydney Peake. She proved to be a lethal three-point shooter that wouldn’t hesitate to launch from deep. Peake had a 20-point outburst with 4 threes. 5- 9 F [player_tooltip player_id="311540" first="Aqoyas" last="Cody"] – Team Elite Peake – Josey You can’t put enough emphasis on toughness. [player_tooltip player_id="311540" first="Aqoyas" last="Cody"] is a rugged forward that rebounds in traffic. She’s a threat for putbacks. The state champ can attack from 15-feet out by putting the ball on the floor. Cody is a strong positional defender. She always finds a way to produce. 5-7 G [player_tooltip player_id="311541" first="Timber" last="Gaither"] – FBC EOTO Black – Cherokee Bluff<img class="wp-image-311152 size-thumbnail alignright" src="https://prephoops-uploads.s3.amazonaws.com/pgh/uploads/2021/07/IMG_8489-150x150.jpg" alt="[player_tooltip player_id="311541" first="Timber" last="Gaither"]" width="150" height="150" /> It was a really good week for [player_tooltip player_id="311541" first="Timber" last="Gaither"]. She shot the ball well and was able to make plays in the paint. She’s a big guard that can help defend different spots and close out possessions with rebounds. 5-11 PF [player_tooltip player_id="311542" first="Ryin" last="Tillis"] – Zone 6 Celtics Golds – St. Francis Tillis could be a sleeper for some schools. She’s a sturdy forward that can rebound and finish inside, but also has a nice touch from the perimeter. Her inside-out game gives her upside as a stretch-four. 5-9 W [player_tooltip player_id="252747" first="Haelim" last="Adle"] – North GA Magic – North Forsyth Young Harris offered Haelim after a strong showing. Adle plays 1-4. She’s a very strong guard that can use her frame to pound her way to the rim while looking to draw and dish to shooters. Adle is a physical defender that can clear rebounds and ignite fast breaks. Her Swiss Army Knife skill set is appealing to many. 5-8 G [player_tooltip player_id="186273" first="Presli" last="Clark"] – North GA Magic – Cherokee An athletic guard that makes plays on defense, [player_tooltip player_id="186273" first="Presli" last="Clark"] also showed some offensive firepower. Clark had her pull-up game working and was able to go coast-to-coast in transition. Presli brings energy as a perimeter defender, moving her feet well to cut off drivers and wall up.
