Mia Kautman Mia Kautman 5'5" | PG Gilbert | 2025 State IA of Gilbert High School committed to Wartburg college at the end of her season earlier this calendar year to compete at the next level and I think she is going to be really good. In a Class that is stacked with PG’s, to standout or make the Top 75 at all is noteworthy and Kautman comes into this Update at #65. This is going to be a quick moving prospect for Wartburg, that could turn into a household name before you know it. She is someone that always seems to show up in a positive way on the stat sheet, while being someone that is hard to take off of the court from a coaching perspective because of her sound defense and high end communication skills with her teammates. I’m not sure if it’ll be the same at the next level but I wouldn’t think otherwise at this point in time. Everything she does on the high school floor, translates so now she just has to go out and make the rest happen.

If you are good enough, they will find you.” This is the perfect way to describe Mia Kautman Mia Kautman 5'5" | PG Gilbert | 2025 State IA and her history. She is someone that isn’t playing AAU her last season and yet she still is committed to the D3 level with a very well ran program in Wartburg college. Kautman has put together a solid high school career. She makes a difference every time she is on the floor and more-so whenever she touches the ball. At the next level, like anyone else she is going to have to earn her stripes or playing time but being on the roster is a start. If she can expand her game to be a little more efficient, while working every chance she gets, then she will be just fine in the long run. There is no doubt about that.
