The high motor forward recently made her college decision with a commitment to William Jewell (D2 Missouri). She’s a relentless rebounder, who also works her tail off while running the floor. Type of player who does the dirty work on the court, that leads to success for her teammates. Will be crucial for a talented Broken Arrow squad that has big dreams in Oklahoma’s competitive Class 6A. Should also be able to make the defense pay if they mistakingly leave her open as a spot up shooter.

Strong power forward that has committed to continue her career at William Jewell. A prototype power forward that can run the floor and has the power to finish strong at the rim. A nice mid range allows her move over to the 3 spot in several summer games I watched.

Jacobs is versatile, can hit buckets from deep, and has the body, footwork, length and strength to finish strong in the paint! Love her footwork, and reliable hands- she thrives on making big plays! (Featured Photo)

Taryn interest and offers has picked up over the summer. A true power forward that can get you a double double every night. Nice mid range jumper that can extend beyond the 3 to go along with some strong post moves allows Taryn can play the 3-5 position.
She has received interest and offers from several programs. Put up great numbers in KY so expect the interest and offers to pick up

Taryn size and game is built for the power forward position. At 6’0 tall she can run the court filling the lanes in transition. Physical low post base makes it hard to move her out of the block area when posting up. What stands out to me is her mid range game when facing the basket. If the defense put a strong post on her she does have the capability to knock down the 3.
On defense she can holds her group against a much bigger opponent. This where you can tell time has been invested in the weight room. She is also quick enough and understands when to release and get around for the steal. What stands out is she will not let the defender turn baseline even if means taking a charge.

Game Watched: Team Griffin Cobbins vs Meanstreets
Super productive game from the 918 forward. Lived on the offensive glass, with countless putbacks and battles in the paint. More than just a battler, with some sneaky passing and vision. Some potential as a short roll type passer, along with passing out of post ups with good reads. Another prospect who’s production and energy levels speak volumes.

I almost feel like a broken record, but Taryn is yet another player for the Tigers that is tall, long, fast, and can be called upon to score it from just about anywhere. Her versatility works great with this team that Coach Coffey has, but then again, Jacobs’ game would work just about anywhere. She is a scrapper. She battles hard for every rebound, every loose ball. She does the dirty work and is the one you can call upon to get you a stop when you need one. Taryn is a dedicated player that is a no doubt college athlete because her work ethic is going to take her very far in not just basketball, but life in general.

Taryn has great size for a small forward, Very athletic that run the floor great filling the lane of fast breaks. Good solid post moves allowing her to finish at the rim. Mid Range jump shot off the dribble was impressive as well. She strong enough to defend a much larger player but quick enough to cause a match up problem on the offensive end. Moves great without the ball cutting to the basket several times scoring on layups 2025 that held her own in the 17u division
