2023: Centers

The Palmetto State 2023 has NO shortage of talent from top to bottom at all. Prep Girls Hoops continues its breakdown of positions in the classes. J’Adore is a physical presence and a rim protector in the paint. Young rebounds the ball highly effective on both ends of the floor. Young can step-out to face-up for the short corner jumper to keep the defenders honest. J’Adore averaged 11.3 ppg, 11.8 rebounds and 4.8 blocks this past season for the Lady Red Raiders. Chiles has deceptive footwork down on the block and has no problems facing up from the perimeter out to the 3-point line. Hailey has GREAT HANDS with everything heading her way. Chiles and <strong>[player_tooltip player_id="176202" first="Kendahl" last="Spearman"]</strong> will form a nice 1-2 combo in the Class 3A Upstate this season. Peighton rebounds the well out of her area and really can utilize the outlet pass to a teammate in transition very nicely. Garner needs to more of a offensive threat times but really understands setting screens and moving away from the ball. Lindsay likes to stay in the paint and operate for her points. Adrianna really runs the floor well and looks to go to work in the paint at times. Adrianna might be better defensively now with her skills than her offensive game. Chaney will keep the ball up high when receiving it down on the block.
